Halloween manicure with Starrily Zombie Blood
Jag har många fina oanvända lack, men det är ändå kul att återanvända gamla favoriter ibland. Zombie Blood från Starrily har jag burit förut, men det är ett så roligt lack att jag ville använda det igen. Det passar dessutom väldigt bra som halloweenmanikyr. Det är en aning smutsigt grönt när det är varmt, går över brunt i mellantemperaturer och blir bruntonat rött när det är kallt. Skiftningarna är väldigt tydliga skiftningar och det är ett riktigt läckert lack! Kanske inte direkt vackert och stilfullt, men roligt! Jag gillar också att det skiftar i så bra temperaturintervall att jag har röda fingertoppar vid vanlig rumstemperatur.
Det täckte på tre lager, var rätt bra att måla med, men hade en tendens att lägga sig i lite tjockare partier.
Jag stämplade sedan med Cuticula Licorice och plattan Lina Spookilicious 01. Det är kul att det ser ut som att zombierna vadar i blod när tipparna är röda! 🙂
In English: I have a lot of untried polishes, but it is still fun to use old favourites sometimes. Zombie Blood, from Starrily, is a polish I have worn before, but it is a really weird colour and I wanted to use it again. It is really well suited for a Halloween manicure, too! It is a slightly dirty green when warm and shifts to a brownish red when cold through a murky brown. The shifts are extremely visible and it is an awesome polish! Maybe not stylish or elegant, exactly, but fun! I also like that it shifts at the right temperature for me to have red fingertips at normal room temperature.
It was opaque in three coats and applied reasonably well, but had a tendency to get stuck on previous coats so it got a bit thick in places.
I stamped with Cuticula Licorice and the Lina Spookilicious 01 plate. I like that it looks like the zombies are wading through blood when the tips are red!

Autumn mani with Depend Rococo Loco polishes
Jag kanske borde komma fram till att visa er den här höstmanikyren innan det blir vinter… Jag blev riktigt nöjd med den, faktiskt. Lacken är pressprover från Depends Rococo Loco-kollektion; 671 (mörkbrun), 674 (orangeröd) och 676 (gul), och jag tyckte att det funkade väldigt bra ihop. Alla tre täckte på två lager och var utmärkta att applicera, även det gula! På långfingret svampade jag med 674 och 676 för att skapa en marmorerad bakgrund. Jag stämplade med med 676 (det krävdes två lager för att det skulle täcka), Hit the Bottle Copper Haired Girl, Beauty Big Bang Brown och Beauty Big Bang Red. Plattan jag använde var ÜberChic Beauty Lovely Leaves 2.
In English: Maybe I should post this autumn mani before winter… I liked it al lot, actually. The polishes are press samples from the Depend Rococo Loco collection; 671 (dark brown), 674 (brick red) and 676 (yellow), and I think they went really well together. All three were opaque in two coats, even the yellow!. On the long finger I sponged 674 and 676 to create a marbled background. I stamped with 676 (it took two stampings on top of each other to get it opaque), Hit the Bottle Copper Haired Girl, Beauty Big Bang Brown and Beauty Big Bang Red. I used the ÜberChic Beauty Lovely Leaves 2 plate.
Depend O2 669
Nu börjar mina händer faktiskt funka igen efter olyckan i somras. Vänster lillfinger är fortfarande inte helt med på banan, men jag kan i alla fall hålla i en lackflaska! (Fast som ni ser är lillfingret och ringfingret fortfarande lite snea och stela efter att ha varit gipsade.) Den här manikyren är faktiskt ny – inte det jag har på händerna nu, men jag bar den för en eller två veckor sedan. Basen är Depend O2 669, ett pressprov från höstens Rococo Loco-kollektion. Det är ett mörkt blått krämlack med ett stänk grönt i sig. Två lager, utmärkt applikation, som vanligt med Depends lack.
Jag stämplade med Maniology Bam! och Lina @kombucha_witch collab-plattan och gjorde det sedan matt med ett lager matt överlack från Depend (också pressprov). Jag gillade verkligen den här manikyren!
In English: My hands are finally getting more functional after the accident this summer. The left pinkie is still not quite there, but at least I can hold a polish bottle! (As you can see, the pinkie and ring finger are still a bit stiff and wonky.) This manicure is actually new – not what I am wearing right now, but what I wore about a week or two ago. The base is Depend O2 669, a press sample from this autumn’s Rococo Loco collection. It is a dark blue creme with a dash of green in it. Two coats, excellent application, as usual when it comes to Depend’s polishes.
I stamped with Maniology Bam! and the Lina @kombucha_witch collab plate, and then mattified it with a matte top coat (also a press sample from Depend). I really liked this manicure!
