Rock manicure
Jag kunde inte motstå att delta i ett födelsedagssamarbete för Inge (https://www.instagram.com/bingel71/), dels för att hon är en hyvens kvinna och dels för att det var rocktema och jag hade en stämplingsplatta med rocktema som hade legat och tittat på mig i några månader. Här är resultatet!
In English: I could not resist participating in a birthday collab for Inge (https://www.instagram.com/bingel71/), partly because she is a nice person, but also because it was rock themed and I had the perfect stamping plate that had been looking at me for a couple of months. Here’s the result!

Christmas bauble manicure
Året julaftonsmanikyr inspirerades av ett par enormt kitchiga julörhängen jag har i form av julkulor. Manikyrversionen blev faktiskt snyggare, och jag gillar kontrasten mellan de blanka snirklarna och texturen i det röda glittret.
Basen är Jade Ouro Liquido, ett guldlack som täckte på två lager, var bra att applicera, men visade mycket penseldrag. För att då en ännu blankare yta la jag på ett lager av ett guldkrompuder som jag köpte från eBay för länge sedan. För att få det att fästa använde jag Emily de Mollys Special Effects Base Coat. Det täckte jag sedan med ett lager överlack, Gloss Sauce från Sweet & Sour Lacquer och lät det torka över natten så det skulle vara helt härdat.
Dagen efter använde jag nagelvinyler från Glam My Mani och Depend O2 Secret Santa, ett pressprov från Time To Sparkle, julkollektionen 2017 för att skapa snirklarna. Secret Santa är ett mycket tjusigt rött glittrigt sandlack som täckte bra och torkade fort. Det var också med i Rough Glitter-kollektionen 2016, så jag har faktiskt två flaskor.
Jag gillade verkligen den här manikyren, och den kändes extremt julig!
In English: This year’s Christmas Eve manicure was inspired by a pair of very kitch christmas bauble earrings that I have. The manicure version actually looked better, and I liked the contrast between the shiny swirls and the textured red glitter.
The base is Jade Ouro Liquido, a gold polish that was opaque in two coats, easy to apply, but showed a lot of brush strokes. To get it shinier, I added a gold chrome powder that I bought from eBay a while back. Since the powder doesn’t stick to regular polish, I had a coat of Emily de Molly Special Effects Base Coat first. I then added a top coat, Gloss Sauce from Sweet & Sour Lacquer and let it dry over night.
The following day, I used nail vinyls from Glam My Mani and Depend O2 Secret Santa, a press sample from the 2017 Christmas collection Time to Sparkle, to create the swirls. Secret Santa is a very pretty red textured glitter that applied well, dried quickly and was opaque in one coat. It was also in the Rough Glitter collection 2016, so I actually have two bottles.
I really liked this manicure and it felt very Christmassy!
Christmas mani with Depend 718
Vi kanske ska ta en julmanikyr också? (Det kommer en till bortglömd halloweenmanikyr senare…) Det här var enklast möjliga – ett rött lack med fina dekaler. Lacket är Depend 718, ett pressprov från höstens Denim Democracy-kollektion. Det är inte riktigt julrött eftersom det slår lite åt tegelrött, men det är fint. (Bilden tagen innan dekalerna kom på är mest färgäkta eftersom den är tagen i dagsljus.) Två lager, bra applikation. Det höll en vecka med lite underhåll. Dekalerna är från So Nailicious.
In English: Maybe we should take a Christmas mani, too? (I have another forgotten Halloween mani that I’ll show you later…) This was the simplest possible – a red creme with pretty decals. The polish is Depend 718, a press sample from this autumn’s Denim Democracy collection. It isn’t quite a Christmas red since it is more of a brick red, but it is pretty. (The outdoor picture without decals is most close to the real colour.) Two coats, nice application. It lasted me a week with a bit of maintenance. The decals are from So Nailicious.
Ghost Pond Mani
Jag kom visst av mig med bloggandet mitt i halloweenmanikyrerna (jag blev distraherad av några syprojekt), men eftersom jag blev rätt nöjd med den här manikyren så visar jag den nu, trots att den inte är det minsta julig.
Basen är Sally Hansen Blacky O, ett svart krämlack som täcker på två lager. Jag stämplade med vita Maniology Bam! i två omgångar med ett lager det svarta jellylacket NfuOh JS01 emellan. Plattan var Lina Spookilicious 01, som alltid. Jag tycker det blev en rätt söt spökmanikyr!
In English: I sort of forgot about blogging in the middle of the Halloween manicures (I got distracted by a couple of sewing projects) but since i liked this mani I will show it now even though it is not the least bit Christmassy.
The base is Sally Hansen Blacky O, a black creme that is opaque in two coats. I stamped with the white Maniology Bam! in tow layers with a coat of the black jelly NfuOh JS01 in beteen. The plate was Lina Spookilicious 01, as always. I think it was a quite cute ghost mani!
Spider mani with Depend 7 day Be True (7273)
Bloggar är ju rätt ute numera, vilket gör det desto roligare när någon faktiskt tar sig tid att läsa och kommentera. Jag fick en fråga för ett tag sedan om Be True från Depends Be You-kollektion är grönt eller blått. Det är en väldigt bra fråga, för det är inte helt lätt att se. Nu har jag burit det i nästan en vecka och mitt svar är – både ock! Det är duokromt, eller kanske t o m multikromt, för i flaskan ser det ut att skifta lite i lila också, även om det inte märks på nageln.
Jag gillade det här lacket. Dels är det kul att klura på vad det faktiskt är för färg, även om det mest ser svart ut på lite håll, och dels hade det väldigt trevlig formula. Det täckte nästan på ett lager. Jag hade två, men då var det sista lagret mest för hållbarhetens skull. Det har också hållit väldigt bra. Nu har jag snart haft det en vecka och jag har bara behövt fixa till det lite i spetsarna.
Det är ju Halloween, så självklart blev det en halloweenstämpling också. Jag stämplade med Hit the Bottle Moonshine, som är ett silvervitt stämplingslack, och plattan Spookilicious 01 från Lina Nail Art Supplies.
In English: Blogs are quite out of fashion these days, which makes it all the nicer when someone actually takes the time to read and comment. I got a question a while ago about whether Be True from the Depend Be You collection is green or blue. It is a very good question, and my answer after wearing it for almost a week is – both! It is slightly duochromatic, or even multichromatic since it shifts a little towards purple too, but that is only visible in the bottle.
I liked this polish. It was fun to try to figure out what colour it really is, even though it mostly looks black from a distance. I also stayed on very well.
Since it is Halloween, I of course stamped some spiders on it as well using Hit the Bottle Moonshine, a nice silvery white stamping polsh, and the Lina Spookilicious 01 plate.
Ghost nails with Depend O2 605
Men titta, här har jag en gammal bortglömd Halloweenmanikyr från 2019! Man kan hitta mycket i mitt lager av opublicerade inlägg. Det passar ju bra att visa det nu, i alla fall.
Lacket är ett pressprov från Recyclekollektionen från hösten 2019. Det är ett fint, blålila krämlack. Två lager, bra applikation. Inte så mycket mer att säga om den saken.
Jag stämplade på ett litet spöke från Lina Spookilicious 01-plattan, min gamla trogna Halloweenfavorit. Det här var under en period när jag hade stora problem med att få till stämplingen. Ibland är det så på hösten/vintern för mig. Det kan dock också vara att stämplingslacket (från Born Pretty Store) hade börjat bli gammalt och dåligt. Men nåja, det är väl inte helt fel att just ett spöke är lite suddigt i kanten!
In English: Look, I found an old forgotten Halloween mani from 2019 in my pile of unpublished posts! Things can get lost for a long time there… But at least now is a good time to post it.
The polish is a press sample from the Depend Recycle collection, autumn 2019. It is a pretty blurple creme. Two coats, nice application. Not much more to say about it.
I stamped a little ghost from the Lina Spookilicious 01 plate, my old favourite Halloween plate. This was during a time when I had a lot of problems with stamping. It sometimes happens to me in the autumn and winter. It could also be that the stamping polish (from Born Pretty Store) was getting old. But well, I guess a ghost can be allowed to be a bit blurry!

Det är aldrig för tidigt för Halloweennaglar, eller hur? Jag tycker inte det i alla fall, så här är årets första Halloweenmanikyr. The Nightmare Before Christmas är en av mina favoritfilmer, så det är egentligen konstigt att jag inte har använt det här motivet från min enda (!) halloweenplatta, Lina Spookilicious 01, tidigare. Den enda förklaringen är att jag nog tänkte att jag skulle orka göra en omvänd stämpling för att få basen i en annan färg, men det iddes jag inte till slut. Nu blev det ett vitt krämlack (KB Shimmer Eyes White Open) som bas istället (två lager, lite tjockt, men det kan vara för att det börjar bli gammalt) och svart stämpling (Cuticula Licorice) istället. Mycket enklare! Jag mattade ner det med ett matt överlack som ett sista steg. Och trots (eller på grund av?) den enklare designen blev en favoritmanikyr!
In English: It is never too early for Halloween nails, right? At least I don’t thinks it is, so this is my first Halloween manicure of the year. The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of my favourite movies, so it is actually a bit strange that I’ve never used this motif from my only (!) Halloween stamping plate, Lina Spookilicious 01, before. The only explanation is that I had plans to make a reverse stamping to get a different coloured background, but in the end I just didn’t bother with it. I just had a simple white creme as a base (KB Shimmer Eyes White Open – two coats, a bit thick, but that could be because it is getting old) with stamping in black (Cuticula Licorice) instead. Much easier! I mattified it with a matte top coat from Depend. And despite (or because?) the simplicity, this ended up being a favourite manicure!
Bee manicure with Depend O2 618
Dependlacket är ett pressprov från Born to be Wild-kollektionen, våren 2020, så det har legat till sig ett tag. Det är riktigt fint knallgult, men betedde sig tyvärr som ett typiskt gult krämlack – det var svårt att få helt jämt. Det krävdes tre lager för att få det jämnt. Jag stämplade med Cuticula Licorice och ÜberChic Beauty plattan 5-01 (alltså platta 1 i samling 5).
In English: The base polish is a press sample from the Born to be Wild collection of the spring 2020, so it has been laying around for a while. It is a really nice bright yellow, but it behaves like a typical yellow creme – it was a bit difficult to get it even. It took me three coats to get a nice finish.
I stamped with Cuticula Licorice and the first plate in ÜberChic collection 5.
Penelope Luz Yogue
Jag brukar vara rätt duktig på att skriva några noteringar om lack när jag bär dem, men i våras var jag så osugen på att blogga att jag inte ens kom fram till det. Sålunda har jag inga noteringar om det här lacket och vet varken hur många lager jag hade eller hur det var att måla med. Det är köpt från Hypnotic Polish i alla fall, och är ett lila glitterlack med både hologlitter och reflexglitter. Mycket glittrigt och fint!
In English: I am usually quite good at making a few notes about a polish, even if I often put off actually posting about it. This spring, however, I was really not in the blogging mood and not even that got done. Therefore, I have no idea of how many coats I used or how the application was of this polish. It is a very pretty purple, though, with both holo and reflective glitter. It was bought from Hypnotic Polish.
Depend 7 day Be You collection (autumn 2022)
Min nya dator har, som ni kan har märkt, gett mig blogglusten tillbaka, så jag passar på att göra ett kollektionsinlägg (det är annars de jag tycker är minst roliga att skriva). Depend har verkligen höjt nivån ett snäpp i höst! Dels med de fina metalliclacken i Rock My World och dels med Be You, säsongens 7 day-kollektion. Här har vi fyra krämlack i fina, mättade färger och fyra skimmer/glitterlack som är riktigt läckra. Min favorit är Be Real, som jag har på naglarna i skrivande stund. Det är så fint att det kunde vara ett indielack! 😉
Lacken var lite svårfotade dock, så färgerna på närbilderna blev lite för ljusa. Färgåtergivningen på solfjädersbilden är mest verklighetstrogen.

In English: My new computer has, as you might have noticed, given me back the joy of blogging, so I will go with the flow and make a collection post (those are otherwise my least favourite posts to write). Depend has really stepped up this autumn. I really liked the lovely metallics in Rock my World an Be You is not a bad collection either. Here we have four nice, saturated cremes and four lovely shimmers/glitters. My favourite is Be Real. I am actually wearing it right now. It is so pretty that it could be taken for an indie polish! 😉
The polishes were a bit difficult to photograph, though, and the close-ups came out a bit too light. The fan picture is the most colour accurate.
