Dags för ett till Silmarillionlack från Aliquid Lacquer. För de av er som inte är lika nördiga som jag kan jag berätta att Silmarillion var J.R.R. Tolkiens Magnum Opus. Förutom Bilbo och Ringentrilogin skrev han också massor av bakgrundshistorier till världen han skapade och efter hans död sammanställde hans son Christopher Tolkien dem till Simarillion. Det är en rätt massiv bok, och jag måste erkänna att jag faktiskt inte har läst hela från pärm till pärm. Däremot känner jag många som har gjort det, så genom att umgås med dem och läsa lite här och var så har en del fastnat. Det här lacket är döpt efter Valars förbannelse över Fëanor, en av de första alverna som bråkade med dem och ägnade sig åt frändemord och andra trevligheter. Lacket är fint, men kanske inte superspeciellt. Det är grålila med blåa toner i vissa ljus och innehåller svart mikroglitter. Jag bar tre lager och som de andra i kollektionen var det tjockt och besvärligt att lacka med. Några av de andra lacken är så fina att det är värt det, men med det här är jag inte säker. Dekalerna har jag fått av en vän.

Time for another polish from the Silmarillion collection from Aliquid Lacquer. If you’re not as nerdy as I, I can tell you that Silmarillion was J.R.R. Tolkien’s Magnum Opus. Apart from Bilbo and the Lord of the Rings trilogy, he wrote a lot of stories about the history of the world he created. After his death, his son Christopher put many of these stories together to form Silmarillion. It is a pretty massive book, and I must admit that I haven’t read all of it. Many of my friends have, though, so I have learnt a great deal from them (and read parts of it). This polish is named after the curse of the Valar upon the high elf Fëanor, who made a lot of trouble, slayed his kin and generally wasn’t a very nice person. The polish is nice, but maybe not super special. It is a grayish purple with blue undertones and contains black micro glitters. I wore three coats and just as the other polishes in the collection it was very thick and difficult to apply. Some of the other polishes are worth the trouble, but I am not sure that this one is.The stickers were given to me by a friend.
