Depend 7 day 70061 Jingle All the Way
Jag fortsätter med julmanikyrerna. Här är en enkel manikyr som jag ändå gillade en hel del. Den påminner mig om julklappspapper. 🙂
Basen är ett fint rött skimmerlack, Jingle All the Way, som jag har fått som pressprov från Holiday Cheer, julkollektionen 2020. Jag kommer inte ihåg om jag hade två eller tre lager, men det var bra att applicera i alla fall. Sedan applicerade jag en bunt stjärndekaler i guld och var nöjd. (Observera att mitt brutna lillfinger faktiskt börjar se nästan normalt ut! Det är fortfarande lite snett när jag böjer det, men jag har hopp om att kunna träna upp det lite mer så det blir lite rakare.)
In English: I’ll continue with the Christmas manicures. Here is a very simple one that I liked a lot. It reminds me of Christmas wrapping paper. 🙂
The base is a pretty red shimmer, Jingle All the Way, that I got as a press sample from the Holiday Cheer Christmas collection 2020. I don’t remember if I wore two or three coats, but it did apply well at least. Then I attached a bunch of gold star decals and was done.
Depend O2 In Fairy Light (5119)
Jag ska chocka både er och mig själv med att blogga två dagar i rad. 🙂 (Måste ju visa halloweenmanikyrerna innan det har gått alltför långt efter Halloween…) Det här var en rätt oinspirerad variant av halloweenmanikyr – jag klämde bara dit några gamla vattendekaler. Baslacket är väldigt fint i alla fall! In Fairy Light är ett pressprov från Depends Secrets of the Forest-kollektion. Det är ett riktigt trevligt äppelgrönt skimmer. Jag bar tre lager. Det hade en viss tendens till att visa penseldrag, men var annars bra att applicera.

A lovely apple green shimmer. I wore three coats. It had a tendency to show brush strokes, but otherwise applied well.
Depend O2 It’s All Around (5116)
Årets första halloweenmanikyr var av det lite mer eleganta slaget. Basen var It’s All Around, ett pressprov från Depends höstkollektion Secrets of the Forest. Det är ett metalliskt skimmerlack i en kallt guldig ton. Det täckte på två lager och var lätt att måla med, men hade en tendens att visa penseldrag. Jag stämplade med Cuticula Licorice och använde plattan Spookilicious 01 från Lina Nail Art.
In English: My first Halloween manicure this year was of the more elegant kind. The base was It’s All Around, a press sample from the Depend autumn collection Secrets of the Forest. It is a metallic shimmer in a cold golden tone. It covered in two coats and applied well, but had a tendency to show brush strokes. I stamped with Cuticula Licorice and the Lina Spookilicious 01 plate.
Autumn mani with Depend Rococo Loco polishes
Jag kanske borde komma fram till att visa er den här höstmanikyren innan det blir vinter… Jag blev riktigt nöjd med den, faktiskt. Lacken är pressprover från Depends Rococo Loco-kollektion; 671 (mörkbrun), 674 (orangeröd) och 676 (gul), och jag tyckte att det funkade väldigt bra ihop. Alla tre täckte på två lager och var utmärkta att applicera, även det gula! På långfingret svampade jag med 674 och 676 för att skapa en marmorerad bakgrund. Jag stämplade med med 676 (det krävdes två lager för att det skulle täcka), Hit the Bottle Copper Haired Girl, Beauty Big Bang Brown och Beauty Big Bang Red. Plattan jag använde var ÜberChic Beauty Lovely Leaves 2.
In English: Maybe I should post this autumn mani before winter… I liked it al lot, actually. The polishes are press samples from the Depend Rococo Loco collection; 671 (dark brown), 674 (brick red) and 676 (yellow), and I think they went really well together. All three were opaque in two coats, even the yellow!. On the long finger I sponged 674 and 676 to create a marbled background. I stamped with 676 (it took two stampings on top of each other to get it opaque), Hit the Bottle Copper Haired Girl, Beauty Big Bang Brown and Beauty Big Bang Red. I used the ÜberChic Beauty Lovely Leaves 2 plate.
Depend O2 669
Nu börjar mina händer faktiskt funka igen efter olyckan i somras. Vänster lillfinger är fortfarande inte helt med på banan, men jag kan i alla fall hålla i en lackflaska! (Fast som ni ser är lillfingret och ringfingret fortfarande lite snea och stela efter att ha varit gipsade.) Den här manikyren är faktiskt ny – inte det jag har på händerna nu, men jag bar den för en eller två veckor sedan. Basen är Depend O2 669, ett pressprov från höstens Rococo Loco-kollektion. Det är ett mörkt blått krämlack med ett stänk grönt i sig. Två lager, utmärkt applikation, som vanligt med Depends lack.
Jag stämplade med Maniology Bam! och Lina @kombucha_witch collab-plattan och gjorde det sedan matt med ett lager matt överlack från Depend (också pressprov). Jag gillade verkligen den här manikyren!
In English: My hands are finally getting more functional after the accident this summer. The left pinkie is still not quite there, but at least I can hold a polish bottle! (As you can see, the pinkie and ring finger are still a bit stiff and wonky.) This manicure is actually new – not what I am wearing right now, but what I wore about a week or two ago. The base is Depend O2 669, a press sample from this autumn’s Rococo Loco collection. It is a dark blue creme with a dash of green in it. Two coats, excellent application, as usual when it comes to Depend’s polishes.
I stamped with Maniology Bam! and the Lina @kombucha_witch collab plate, and then mattified it with a matte top coat (also a press sample from Depend). I really liked this manicure!
Summer mani with Depend O2 664
Det är äntligen sommar och jag fick min första vaccindos idag! Det känns som att livet börjar återvända, vilket gör mig sugen på glada manikyrer, och vad kan vara gladare än knallgult?
Till den här manikyren använde jag Depend O2 664, ett pressprov från Over the Rainbow-kollektionen. Förutom att vara härligt klargult så var det ovanligt bra att applicera för att vara ett gult lack. Det jämnade ut sig riktigt bra och täckte på tre lager.
Accentnaglarna är vattendekaler från MILV över tre lager vitt krämlack (Model’s Own Snow White).
In English: Summer is finally here, I got my first vaccine dose today and I am starting to feel like life is returning! It makes me fell like happy manicures, and what can be happier than a bright yellow?
For this manicure, I used Depend O2 664, a press sample from the Over the Rainbow collection. Besides being a lovely yellow, it had an unusually nice formula for a yellow creme. It evened out quite nicely and was opaque in three coats.
The accent nails are water decals from MILV over three coats of a white creme (Model’s Own Snow White).
Depend O2 Over the Rainbow (summer 2021)
Depends sommarkollektion i O2-serien heter Over the Rainbow och består av tolv färgstarka krämlack i ganska klassiska sommarfärger. De kostar 35 kr/st och jag har fått hela kollektionen som pressprover. Jag har inte så mycket att säga om de här faktiskt. En del av lacken är riktigt fina, men det är inga som får mitt hjärta att slå snabbare.
In English: The Depend summer collection in the O2 series is called Over the Rainbow and consists of twelve cremes in classic summer colours. They cost 35 SEK each and I was sent the whole collection as press samples. I really don’t have that much to say about these. Some of the polishes are quite nice, but none of them makes my heart beat faster.

Sommarkollektionerna är här! Precis lagom till att jag har postat vårkollektionerna, känns det som. Vart har den här terminen tagit vägen?
Free Your Colour är från Depends 7 day-serie och ges ut i begränsad upplaga. De kostar 49 kr styck och finns i butik sedan länge vid det här laget… Jag har fått dem som pressprover. Kollektionen består av sju färgglada krämlack och ett rosa glitter i klar bas. Lite för mycket rosa för min smak, men jag gillar alla lack i kollektionen som inte är rosa! 🙂

Free Your Colour is in the Depend 7 day series and is released as a limited edition collection. They cost 49 SEK each and have been in the stores for several weeks already… They were sent to me as press samples. The collection consists of seven colourful cremes and a pink glitter with a clear base. A bit too much pink for my taste, but I like all the non-pink polishes in the collection!

Blue dry-brush stamping with Depend From a Different View and 610
Den här manikyren gjorde jag som mitt bidrag till aprils tema för Nail Addicts Collab på Instagram, som var ”Technique Twister”. Uppgiften var att kombinera två olika dekorationstekniker i samma manikyr. Jag valde att grunda med en torrborstad bas och sedan stämpla över den.
I botten hade jag Depend 7 day 7229 From a Different View, ett pressprov från Open Mind-kollektionen. Det täckte på två lager och var förvånansvärt bra att lacka med för att vara ett så ljust lack. Sedan torrborstade jag med Depend 610, ett pressprov från Tokyo Street-kollektionen 2019. Sedan stämplade jag med Hit the Bottle Blue-tiful och plattan Lesly Ornate. Jag tycker det blev riktigt fint! De två ljusa lacken ligger tillräckligt nära i färg för att ge ett lugnt intryck men ändå är tillräckligt olika för att det ska synas skillnad. Det har ändå sina fördelar att ha en så stor nagellackssamling att man kan hitta lack i precis den nyansen man vill ha!
In English: This manicure was my contribution to the April theme at Nail Addicts Collab on Instagram, which was ”Technique Twister”. The idea was to combine two different nail art techniques in the same manicure. I chose to start with a dry brushed base and then stamp over it.
The base polish was Depend 7 day 7229 From a Different View, a press sample from the Open Mind collection. It was opaque in two coats and was surprisingly easy to apply for such a light polish. I dry brushed with Depend 610, a press sample from the 2019 Tokyo Street collection. Then I stamped with Hit the Bottle Blue-tiful and the Lesly Ornate plate. I really liked this! The two light blue polishes were close enough to give a calm impression but still different enough that the dry brush effect was visible. It has its advantages to have a large enough nail polish collection so that I can find polishes in the exact shade I am looking for!
Easter mani with Depend O2 649
Årets andra påskmanikyr bar jag egentligen före den jag visade igår. Återigen är det ett Dependlack som bas, den här gången Depend O2 649, ett pressprov från You Pastel Me-kollektionen. Det är ett ljusgrönt, väldigt vårigt krämlack. Det var trevligt att måla med och täckte på två lager.
Jag stämplade med Maniology Bam! (vitt, som underlag till det gula), Beauty Bigbang Bright Yellow (gult, ganska skirt, därav den vita basen), Beauty Bigbang Red (rött) och Dance Legend Metallic Green (grönt). Plattan var Victorian Easter från Clear Jelly Stamper.
In English: The second Easter manicure this year also had a Depend polish as a base, this time it was Depend O2 649, press sample from the You Pastel Me collection. It is a light green creme that feels like a perfect spring polish. It was nice to apply and covered in two coats.
I stamped with Maniology Bam! (white, as a base for the yellow), Beauty Bigbang Bright Yellow (which is quite sheer, hence the white base), Beauty Bigbang Red and Dance Legend Metallic Green. The plate was Victorian Easter from Clear Jelly Stamper.
